The ideal candidate for this position is perfect for a current student that is studying and/or just graduated with an HR degree and looking to get into a career in Human Resources, with lots of growth potential. Pay: $19-21/hour DOE
What Will I Do?
Front Desk & Guest Services:
Greet and assist all visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner. Manage lobby security by issuing badges, monitoring arrivals/departures, and performing health checks as needed.
Communication & Scheduling:
Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries. Schedule and confirm interviews, meetings, and appointments. Distribute and collect job applications and relay messages to appropriate parties.
Mail & Shipping Operations:
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including PO Box management, internal distribution, and signing for deliveries (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.). Assist with preparing and shipping outgoing correspondence.
Office & Facility Management:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, kitchen, restrooms, and breakrooms. Order, stock, and manage inventory for office supplies, kitchen items, and conference room materials. Set up and restock meeting spaces as needed.
Employee Engagement & Onboarding Support:
Prepare new hire folders, labels, and onboarding materials. Create and post flyers for new hires, birthdays, anniversaries, and employee achievements. Maintain internal email distribution lists and bulletin boards.
Digital Presence & Recruitment Support:
Update and manage company profiles on Glassdoor and Indeed to reflect current job openings, company culture, and employee feedback. Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and assisting with application processing.
Event & Meeting Coordination:
Assist with planning and executing internal events and meetings, including ordering meals, setting up spaces, and coordinating logistics.
Administrative Support:
Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, copying, faxing, and credit card reconciliation. Support various departments with ad hoc administrative tasks.
Other Duties as Assigned:
Flexibly support additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
