We have an opportunity for an HR Intern/Employee Services Administrative Assistant. The Employee Services Admin Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department/s by performing a variety of clerical, service related and administrative tasks.

 

The ideal candidate for this position is perfect for a current student that is studying and/or just graduated with an HR degree and looking to get into a career in Human Resources, with lots of growth potential.  Admin/retail/customer service experience is great for the position. Training is provided! POSITION IS FULL TIME W/ BENEFITS, IN OFFICE, LOOKING TO START BY BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY!

Pay: $19-21/hour DOE

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors, employees, and clients.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Provides administrative support to senior leaders, including email correspondence and generation and distribution of announcements, memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes
  • Retrieves information as requested such as records, email, mail, meeting minutes, and other related documents; distributes and/or prepares written summaries and reports of data as needed.
  • Work under general supervision and may be assigned special projects.
  • Responds to and resolves relevant service related and administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates and schedules events, travel, lunches, meetings, and appointments for the company, dept managers or supervisors.
  • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains office supplies, employee equipment, and coordinates maintenance of office equipment for assigned department.
  • Maintains a system for recording expenses, reconciles credit cards.
  • Tracks and maintains data and information for assigned department as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have reliable transportation and full-time onsite availability M-F 8am-5pm.
  • Skilled in a high level of customer service delivery
  • Ability to proactively seek creative ways to perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to meet confidentiality expectations regarding confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with Leaders and all internal & external Customers.
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to use MS Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt to new technology applications and acquire new technical skills.
  • Required: Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in Administrative Support or Customer Service-related fields
