As an HVAC Sales Technician, you are the trusted advisor in the home. You’ll evaluate existing systems, perform diagnostics, and design replacement solutions tailored to each customer’s needs. You’ll educate homeowners on system options, energy efficiency, comfort solutions, and long-term value — all while delivering a premium customer experience.
This is a consultative sales role, ideal for experienced service technicians who excel at communication and want to maximize their earning potential.
Evaluate HVAC systems and diagnose performance issues
Perform load calculations and design complete system solutions
Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options clearly and confidently
Educate homeowners on features, benefits, and long-term value
Ensure all recommendations meet local codes and safety standards
Complete required documentation, financing paperwork, and call closeouts
Follow up on sales opportunities and maintain performance metrics
Represent Berkeys professionally in appearance, communication, and conduct
5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
Proven ability to diagnose systems and communicate solutions
Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills
EPA Certification and active TDLR card
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Comfortable working in attics, heat, and physically demanding environments
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused mindset
Prior sales experience is a plus — training and support are provided.
