Berkeys has an opportunity for a Dispatch Supervisor position in the Call Center department! The Dispatcher Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of dispatching technicians; plumbing, HVAC and electrical, in a way that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction. Also responsible to oversee any issues related to the customer experience. Compensation: $50,000-$60,000/year DOE

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Must be in office 4 days a week.
  • Train new dispatchers and provide ongoing training as needed.
  • Manage tasks and ensure they are resolved to completion within 24 hours.
  • Supervise and monitor the completion of the information and invoices inboxes.
  • Strategically plan the dispatch board per department with department dispatchers
  • Monitor capacity planning and make changes as needed with department dispatchers.
  • Ability to dispatch and move calls for various technicians and provide direction to dispatchers.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, integrity, and interest in performing at a high-level day in and day out.
  • Ability and commitment to be on time.
  • Monitor dispatch KPIs, timesheets, grading, and have routine 1 on 1s with team members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients at all times and manage customer escalations.
  • Strong teamwork skills and high regard for teamwork with respect.
  • Ability to work with other employees, management, and technicians to get the job done correctly and in the best interest or our clients, while abiding by company policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility with regard to work hours and days, with weekends and weekends 'on-call' capabilities.
  • Ability to see the 'big picture' of work committed and plan to achieve the challenge.
  • Customer Service support duties as assigned. Support system to call center.
  • Work with and facilitate dispatch in assigning calls into the future.
  • Work with and facilitate dispatch with scrubbing calls for accuracy and to set technician up for success.
  • Monitor the keeping up with chats, having them closed out and not sitting for longer than 10 minutes.
  • Contribute to the on-call rotation as instructed by Internal Operations Manager. 
  • Other duties as determined by management.

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • Minimum High School Graduate/GED Equivalent.
  • 5+ years in a Customer Call Center.
  • 3+ years in a Dispatch Center.
  • Experience in plumbing or HVAC dispatch/call center is a plus.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Windows, including Word and Excel.
  • Call Center phone systems and dispatch software.
